From 21 July to 10 August you can stay in a three- or four-star hotel in Paris and pay what you think it’s worth.
On departure from the hotel, the customer must make an evaluation of their stay based on the welcome, service, comfort and decoration…then pay accordingly.
The deal is that you can stay for one night (after that the rate is the regular one charged by the hotel). You must pay a €17 non-reimbursable booking fee and the booking must be made on ‘Payez ce que vous voulez’, the site that’s been specially set up for the five participating hotels: l’Hôtel Plaza Opéra (3*), La Villa Bohème (3*), l’Hôtel Tour d’Auvergne (4*), Grand Hôtel Français (3*) and L’Hôtel Villa Opéra Lamartine (3*). All five hotels are in convenient tourist locations (view the hotels here).
Note that it’s only the room that you make an estimate for, all other charges such as food and mini-bar will be charged at the usual rate.
